As the Lunar New Year approached, Cartell Chemical Co., Ltd. (MXBON®)—a global manufacturer of industrial and cosmetic adhesives—successfully hosted its 2026 Year-End Banquet on January 31, 2026, at the Chiayi Xietong High School Auditorium in Taiwan.
Held under the festive theme “Welcoming the Year of the Horse”, the event brought together nearly 470 employees, partners, and guests across 47 banquet tables, celebrating a year defined by resilience, execution strength, and steady international growth.
A Thoughtfully Curated Opening Reflecting Corporate Values
To welcome attendees, Cartell Chemical prepared elegant floral installations at the venue entrance and invited Sunshine Coffee to provide a hand-brewed specialty coffee station—creating a warm, refined atmosphere that reflected the company’s attention to detail and people-centric culture.
The banquet officially opened with a live musical performance, “Perseverance,” by Jacky Lin of the Six Arts Ensemble, symbolizing Cartell Chemical’s long-standing commitment to quality, technological endurance, and continuous R&D advancement in the adhesive industry.

2025 Business Review: Stability Amid Global Uncertainty
During the annual business review, General Manager Richard Chen addressed the challenges faced in 2025, including global economic volatility and U.S. tariff adjustments. Despite these external pressures, Cartell Chemical maintained stable operations and continued to expand its overseas market presence through disciplined execution and organizational resilience. Key achievements highlighted include:
- Cosmetics GMP certification, positioning Cartell Chemical as one of the few adhesive manufacturers globally to meet both industrial and cosmetic-grade regulatory standards
- AI-driven digital transformation, improving internal workflows and operational efficiency, earning recognition from Business Weekly
- ESG implementation, including the transition from plastic blister packaging to recyclable paper carding, alongside sustained investment in community and cultural initiatives
With recent U.S.–Taiwan tariff adjustments reducing duties to approximately 15%, the company expressed cautious optimism for improved cost efficiency and stronger momentum entering 2026.

Chairman’s Message: The “Leading Pioneer” Philosophy
Chairman Michael Chen delivered a keynote address centered on the “Leading Pioneer Spirit”, using the horse as a metaphor for leadership, responsibility, and endurance. He emphasized Cartell Chemical’s role as a stable foundation for its employees and their families, reaffirming that human capital remains the company’s most critical long-term asset.

Honoring Long-Term Commitment and Team Culture
Cartell Chemical also held a Service Milestone Awards Ceremony, honoring employees with 5, 10, and 20 years of service. Award recipients were presented with commemorative pure gold ingots, symbolizing gratitude for their loyalty and shared growth with the company.

Interactive Celebrations and Team Engagement
The atmosphere reached its peak during interactive segments, including a cash prize draw and balloon-pop challenge hosted by General Manager Richard Chen. Energetic live performances by the Guli Band transformed the banquet into a vibrant celebration—strengthening team cohesion and reinforcing Cartell Chemical’s people-first corporate culture.
